A 100% Swiss family company since its creation, SIGVARIS GROUP is a world leader in the manufacture of medical compression stockings. The company was founded in 1864 in Winterthur. For a century, SIGVARIS GROUP has produced "elastic rubber textiles" and distributed them in Switzerland and abroad. From 1958 to 1960, the Swiss company developed, in collaboration with Dr. Karl Sigg, the medical compression stocking to improve the function of the venous pump and reduce venous problems. Since 2009, the WELL-BEING and SPORTS lines have been part of the product range, in addition to the main MEDICAL line. WELL-BEING tights, on the other hand, have a preventive effect and relieve the first signs of venous problems in the legs. SPORTS products improve athletes'; performance and recovery time. Today, SIGVARIS GROUP employs 240 people in Switzerland. SIGVARIS GROUP's customers include pharmacies, drugstores, orthopaedic and medical equipment stores, as well as doctors and hospitals.
